I dont believe it

Ok last weeks silver dollar find still has me in cloud nine..So today I decided to go to a little Park that has been pounded over the years... I have found a few keepers at this park , but not very many.. An hour or so into it , I finally get that sweet sounding deeper coin sound that I like..actually this sounded pretty good ,, screaming silver dime all the way... Just deep..made my hinge as deep as I could .. pinpointed a little to the side of the hole about eight inches deep..and I seen the outline of a coin in the dirt ...never figured this would be in my little sand pile..I found my first ever seated dime at this park ten years again..this dime tops that one out..look at the details...woohoo. It just keeps getting better every day...lol. man I sure love my old two hundred dollar xs....

Nice seated ! Finding a seated coin in Wisconsin gives me the faith to believe they can be found in Minnesota too !

Way to go Todd that is a nice 73 you found and after ten years you deserve it. :clapping:
I hope you will not have to wait another ten for another Morgan.
The XS is a good machine no doubt after all that is the true beginning of the Explorer frenzy which continues today. I jumped on the M.L. train in 2000 coming from the competitors lines.
Can't wait to see what you dig up next.

They are here.. we just gotta work harder than our eastern and southern state people to find them.. the city I live in wasn't even here in the eighteen hundred.. if you are gonna find seateds.. you gotta go to them.. took me lots of years to figure this hobby out.. I have found a few seated dimes. But surely not many.. I just wish I lived in an older area..like Chicago or Milwaukee.. where their were people with money a long time ago..I don't drive for hours .. but we have a couple cities that are a little older within a half hour away.. that's where I find the good ones.. good luck.. you'll get a seated if you put your mind to it.. lol.. but I sure don't think ill ever get another Morgan .. they are just to hard to come by..

Funny I just jumped ship in the last couple years....lol..I will say my dfx is better for field hunting when I want to cover a lot of area fast ..trying to locate a hotspot in an eighty acre field...But I always go to my explorer now for smaller areas..and older parks... I have detected the spot where I found this seated at least twenty five times or more with my dfx , xlt , and even my 6000di series three back in the day..All I can think of is this dime was just a tad bit too deep for the dfx. that's where the minelab excels ..Not to change the subject but I got a new Garret pro pointer today..been using my whites bulleseye for ten years now.. and from what I have seen so far ...I am gonna love the new pinpointer.....No more marks on my thumb from holding that Dang little black button in so hard..that button gets dirt in it ..so ya gotta press it so hard. It hurts ..just to make sure it works..cant wait to field test it the propointer...
