I was wondering if any of the metal detector guys on here were also into privy digging, prospecting and general relic hunting in old barns and fence rows all over North America?

I write Dumpdiggers and I'm a hardcore bottle digger in Canada with a passion for British History.

Here's a shot of me digging a historic dump last weekend.

I just posted Part Three, the exciting conclusion of Bottle Rush in Meaford on my Dumpdiggers blog at http://dumpdiggers.blogspot.com

Here I tried to make each post as informative as it is entertaining. This adventure series was fun to write, and I hope to bring a lot more tales like this your way in the coming months...

I hope this final post closes this thread properly and serves as my adventure story of introduction.
