I thought "grills" had gone out of style, and judging by the depth I think it was a recent drop; but you never know for sure how long something has been in the sand.

I haven't gone detecting much this year, it was good to get out again

2.7 grams but that includes the fake tooth still in the grill. YUK:yikes:

I have found two grills in the past three years , but I found mine at ball fields . My wife makes me get rid of them ASP :)
 
nice gold.... ive only ever found 2 of them ...one was gold other was not.... ya,definately not colonial..lol..
 
I like it!! Gold melts no mater what shape.....:thumbup:
 
Nice find. No I think grills are still in. I found around 3 last season and a Gold Cap so far this season. Like OBN said, melt it down and it's still gold!!!!!!!
