January was pretty bleak for me, as a matter of fact December wasn't much better; but February is definitely looking up. All the conditions were perfect.
There was a minus tide an offshore wind and it was sunny too.

I knew it was going to be good when the first signal I dug near the waters edge was a quarter

I read your post and felt like i was there ! Days like that keeps you hooked on MD for years ! Congratulations !

This is the kind of post that keeps us all goin' during the lean times! Thanks for the post and beautiful photos! I'm assuming from your post and the sounds of your detector that it is an Excal. <><

Many thanks,

aj

Very Impressive post!! Congratulations on those beautiful "finds"

I think your right about it being Titanium, I found this on Wikipedia...

Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22.
It is a light, strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including resistance to sea water)

The bracelet is certainly lustrous and resistant to sea water, because it didn't tarnish at all!

Thanks for the tip Nanwate7,

I think it well and truly made up for January! The Excal is a great machine, all I ever use for water detecting.
