I didn't do so well today.

I went to a park where I have done very well the last couple of days, but today was not as good. I found a little clad, a junk ring, a whisle and a bunch of keys. I am testing the 8" DD Excelerator and I am pleased with its ability to get down to some deep targets. The deepest coin that I have dug with it so far was at about 9 inches. The VDI numbers are correct for the targets that I have dug and I am able to pinpoint targets with ease. I set my gain today at +2 and I did not get any chatter, but when I tried to increase the gain past +2 it began to chatter so I turned it back to +2 where it stayed for the rest of the hunt. This is a good coil and if you get a chance to try one I think you would agree. HH Dennis in Idaho

That's not a shabby hawl at all Dennis. And thanks for the infor on the coil. Might have to see if that's what Larry uses for his DFX and if so, I might have to give it a try if it will fit the MXT.

It is a hot coil. It works on both the DFX and MXT. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis,

You think thats a bad haul? Looks pretty good to me. You can even toot your whistle to celebrate. Now if you could only find the old car that those keys go to, you would be in tall cotton. Those look like "Happy Days" era keys.

Hi, I am not complaining really as its not a bad haul, pretty average for me,but I guess I was spoiled with my haul on the 15th. Now that was a haul which does not happen everyday for me. Check out my post" New 8" DD Excelerator search coil" and you will see what I mean. HH Dennis in Idaho
