I did something I don't normaly do..........Ya remember my ring from Weds?

Well I sold it for $150.00. A friend i showed it to's wife just had to have it. I have never sold ANYTHING I've dug. I've got cases of stuff I've dug over the last 14 years. I've got 1812 and CW stuff id give up a finger for first. I kinda feel strange about selling something I dug. BTW that was also my first diamond ring ever.:( I had talked about selling my finds with the SR2 to finance a new coil etc.. for it. Just really did not think I would do it. I've known guys who sold everything old they dug for $$$ and i always thought ill of them. But i guess it's not historical just a shiny cousin to a pull tab, lol. I was just curious to see if yall ever turn anything over to finance your operations?? Waive bye to the ring everybody!

Go jump in a Lake!!

Ps. Hitting the area again on Sun am!!!! :)

It's NOT much more than a shiny cousin to a pull tab... well, a pulltab kept the beer IN!

I sold most of the gold jewelry I found in the last 10 months.

There were no old items I know of.

I have some rings I did not sell for different reasons.

I am a single parent on a fixed income with two teen aged

boys. I need that money. I don't need the jewelry.

I doing good just to keep from having a credit card balance.

I'll feed my boys.

I'm not alone. Bunches of folks unloaded when it hit $1,000.

Happy Hunting,

Hey I think you did well! That is a nice tidy sum of money. For sure it will buy a coil or other need. Congrats on the sell, Beale.
