I went ahead and called Kellyco. Only a couple of hours away so it was my closest dealer. The individual on the phone was very nice and commented the machine might even be here tomorrow, and that was free shipping. Lord only knows how fast it would have been if I paid extra.. I ordered the 8 inch version and added a coil cover to the mix to protect it from the rocks and trash we have. Looking forward to this. Hopefully everything I've read here does not steer me wrong.
Wow, nice...If you had paid extra, it woulda been there yesterday! :crylol Good luck, you are right, the Tee boys on this Forum are an active bunch that will all help you with your success with your new rig.

You will love it. One of the best detectors on the planet. Once you start using it, you will wonder why you never bought one years ago. You will be using it most of the time.
Just turn that sucker on and start finding things. Some good and some bad. If you have other questions, just ask. There are a bunch of dedicated compadre users here to help you. Have fun... KEN
Gosh, everyone is so supportive. Nice thing us when it gets here all I'll need to do is open the box, assemble, add the battery and hit the yard. I'm sure someplace out there are more silver coins, that Barber dime could not have been alone. We'll see how this goes
I sure envy you guys in the warmer climates..I have a new Compadre with the 8" coil and a Troy X2 that I got recently and can't take them out hunting because of the weather.
Right now it is a balmy -4 degrees here in central Illinois.....and I'm not freezing Jimmy and the twins off to dig a few ate up zinc pennies. It's gonna be at least another 3 months
before I can get out again....... At least I can see and read about your finds to make winter go by faster.........HH.
