I decided on the Infinium

Dancer

Well-known member
Took some good advice, read asked and watched every video on every machine I concidered. Laying down a lot of money I needed a machine for Land/Sea so there it is. In my research I found many fine water units come with the headphones & coils hard wired. Not so the Garretts, so able to use different coils/headsets. Beware the Garrett Infinium /Sea Hunter stock shafts don't have cuppliers. So they do have some slap. (The ones I looked at) A pulse induction machine will pounce on just about everything so be minefull of that. In order to make this machine work I have to pick the right places to hunt. The L/S should make a good buddy for the AT Pro. Time will tell.

Congrats!

I know I have been very happy with mine. The ATPro made the team for me.

Good luck and don't forget to GB at water's edge just before going in to salt water.
Remember that the Infinium REMEMBERS the last setting. So if you leave beach A at night and go back in the morning, just turn on and go.

Now GO have fun:
May the ring of gold be in your ears and its glitter in your scoop.

I think you made a wise decision. Put in lots of time, in different environments. No discrimination on the Infinium does NOT mean that there isn't any. Learn the tones, the length of the signals, the strength of the signals, the depth of various signals. You will soon be surprised how much the Infinium will tell you. Good luck!
