I D Excel

What is the value of a fisher id excel no scratches or marks with less than an hour usage in my yard ? Bought new for wife and she did not like it.

Don't know the value. What doesn't she like about it. The meter ID is great. Roughly, dimes and copper pennies are # 26 to 29. Quarters are 31 - 33. Nickles are 11 - 14. Just have to memorize the numbers, easy to do. I had an ID Edge, has the same meter numbers and my CoinStrike has the same meter numbers too for those same targets. These are 3 great and capable detectors. Try lowering the Sensitivity to stabilize the meter, if needed. Bill Ladd (author and detector whizz) swore by the Excel for its light weight and its performance. Click SEARCH above to find his posts on the Excel.

She likes the beep and dig detectors. I also have a 1236x2 that she uses and likes it better. I uess I will probably keep it and use it as a backup and for real trashy areas. I normally use a cz7 and hunt mostly on the beach. Thanks and Happy Hunting Ken
