Well, I was at a new spot and had been there about 2 hours. It was getting dark but I was finding coins, many more tha I normally do at a single spot. I hit one good solid 86-87 and beliving it was another quarter, pin pointed and began to dig. Stopped twice to check with the Pro Pointer. The third time, the hole was getting deep, I got nothing. Hummmmm? Where'd it go? I ran the ATP over the hole and surrounding area. Nothing. Just as I began to curse my ATP I lifted my digger, I had speared a twist off bottle cap. I apologized to my ATP and went off to find a few more coins before I quit for the night.
