I crossed the big river and passed by the Arch in search of

Jessie James buried loot. Well that may be a loose term for; I went MDing in MO.
We did Easter and my wife's birthday in Marshfield Mo. at her sister's house. Two of those days we spent in Branson. It was COLD and snowing at times. Had very little time for MDing, but got out a little. Problem was I have one MDer and a father in law who wanted to learn. Used up a lot of time teaching him and my nephew how to MD. My father in law found a 1930 cent, which he kept. Now he wants an Ace.
You know how some people take a picture of how deep their hole is that they dug. I am telling you the sniper goes deep. I climb into the hole and took a picture looking up.

That was a cave we went into at Silver Dollar City. Never did find any silver.
I found this old pool that was filled in with dirt. Got me a 1938 cent.

I went across the street, found an old arena that dated back to 1855 and found two more wheats. Also found a track medal and a horse charm. Wish I had more time.

Got chased out of one field and found out the guy was crazy. Father in law went to city hall and they said it was city property. It was OK to MD. If the old man gives you any trouble we will straighten him out. I was told by one city official good luck and God bless you on your hunting. Nice people in Mo.
The total.

Welcome to Missouri! Even if it's a visit. Did you ride the powder keg roller coaster at SD city?

My wife's family is of culture and had to take us to all the musical shows. I don't know if I could have taken doing the rides anyway. There were snow flurries most the day. Anyone for the flume ride?
I love the people in Marshfield. Very down to earth and friendly.

I enjoyed the MDing. More places then I had the time for. The dirt isn't as mineralized as the soil in W.Va. The city hall said I could MD on any city or county land. They encouraged me to have a good time in their town. I had a good time, but I don't think I could have put up with the end laws much more. :punch:
They moved there a few years ago. I hope Mo.is a good influence on them.
The trip was for my wife.:inlove:
