I couldn't wait for rain & cooler weather near end of year.

I had hung up my detectors earlier when the temps were approaching triple digits. I usually am a seasonal hunter, when the weather cools and rains condition the soils.
Well after all the machines I bought in the last year, I think 7 or 8 (5 are Tesoro's), its hard to go through such a dry spell. And the gas prices don't always make it reasonable to to head up a couple hours drive into the boonies often.
Well its getting hard to wait it all out so I picked up a gear pack for my scooter. The Tesoro's broken down leaves plenty of room - a nice Tesoro feature. I can fit 2 machines with extra coils, digging tools, pouches, all sorts of stuff with plenty of room for chow and drinks. Might be reasonable now to head up to some higher elevation mining camps. Just getting hard to wait for the end of the year and the bug is bitting.
My test setup with gear in the pack. I can leave the detector gear in the pack and slide it on/off the sissy bar. Just add chow and drinks, and a little gas. This might work.
