So for the first time, I was at this huge park today with my dad and the first signal I got was a 13-23 turned out to be a 1904 indian. I thought man this place is going to be great. My dad comes over with the first silver a 1941 merc. I then thought wow this is going to rock. Two hours later there was hardly any signals to dig anywhere. I pulled about 54 cents in clad and then I got a deep dime 12-44 signal. This park is old enough for seated which I never found, so I was hoping. I pull it out of the ground and the first thing I see is the wreaths on the back. Im like oh man this is it!!!! I turn it over....and its a 1892 barber...missed it by one friggin year ugh!!!! Still my oldest silver though.

WTG Beyonder How Deep was the Barber, Did you get a good Lock on 12-44 ??? Did you use the stock Coil??
Good Job Man!!!!!!!!!!!! Mickfin

Yea stock showing 5 inches about 6 actually. It was a good signal IDK how anyone could miss it. It was near a tree and it did bounce to 12-45 a few times.

Thank You Beyonder, wear you using 50 Co with a Disc pattern or open screen combined????
You N your Dad go back N find more, Cool Man Cool, Mick

Congrats on the finds! Seems like strange numbers (13-24) for a 1904 Indian. They always come in 12-32-36) for me. What settings are you using?

Beyonder, when I got my only seated dime it came out wreaths up, thought oh, nice, barber till I flipped it over. It will happen when you least expect it.

I was running a modified "bill s" trashy park pattern with 50 cond. As for the indian coming in that low, maybe it was on its side near something but it did bounce to 12-37 once or twice. I thought it might of been a wheat.

So wear do I go to find the Programs people are making and how do I Download it on my CTX ????
Thanks All, Mickfin

In all honesty I dont know however you can always ask around. Also, It might be better to horse around and make your own. The pattern just disc out the bad stuff. Remember, patterns are tools just like modes are. Use them for the right situations.

Thanks Beyonder, Yes I did make some patterns N I understand we can set up the CTX Different ways 4R Different Hunts I Like that!!!!
And the CTX dos a Good Job in all modes, Iv ben using 50 Co with 11 to 14 Fe Line open N the upper Silver Hi Co open with a pattern,
But I think I will try Combined with a all open screen with a 25 Fe Line see what that can do with NO Nulling??????
The CTX is so Vercatble I cant what to use it again!!!!! And im a old Whites Guy 4R 25 + years go figure???????? Mickfin

Mickfin, here is a link to Gonehuntings youtube video of his settings. It is very good, I use it and so do many others.
