there's snow up there.Me and my old friend Leon head up to the most northern part of N.H.on Friday.Been going to there for 25 years now to hunt deer for the black power hunt.I use a Carolina flintlock long rifle, its a trick to keep the powder dry in the rain and snow but in all the years I've hunted with the flintlock it never let me down.I use a Cows knee to cover the lock and pan. It's a 50 cal and drops the deer in it spot.We see more moose than deer up there, there all over the place up there. Most of them will head for the main road for the salt they put on the road.Hoping for a little more snow but you never can tell up there. We've hunted up there when it was in the 60's and in coldest was 20 below so you never know the weather up there.I'm pumped, can't wait.

The first one (top) I built when my first daughter was born in 1979. The secound one down I built when my secound daughter was born in 1986. I built the third one when my granddaughter was born in 2001. The bottom one is a Lyman great plans rifle which I bought. I plan to build another one for my grandson who was born 6/29/04. Love them FLINTCHLOCKS!
