i cant open my 1280, HELP

I feel like maybe it just hasnt been opened in so long its fused. have removed the control knob seal nuts. it stopped working after i submerged it in the ocean it lasted 10 seconds
 
Have you removed the 4 screws in the battery compartment? Once you remove those the front can then slide out. May need a very thin jewelrs flat screw driver to give a little prying with.


Its always worked for me.
