General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Well after waiting almost 3 weeks for kellyco to replace my e-trac with the scratched display I received my new e-trac today.Well I open up the box and surprise the new one has a bigger scratch in the center of the display and the coil cover has scratches in it! Also the extended warranty wasn't in there.So I call kellyco and they are sending another call tag and they are going to look over the next e-trac to make sure it's not scratched and include the extended warranty.Hope they get it right this time!At this rate I should be able to use one by next winter LOL! Happy Hunting Ron
 
Will they at least get your new one on the way and not make you have to wait until they receive the second scratched unit.

They are not sending the new one untill they receive the second scratched unit.They said they would send a new one if I wanted to pay for it.I asked if they would send a new one with a pickup tag and they said no not unless I paid for the other unit and they would credit me when they recieved the damaged one.
 
That stinks!! Hopefully you will forget about all this mess after you start finding the good stuff with it.
 
Exactly!! After dealing with some of our dealers here on the forum, I just have to believe that if this would have happened with them, they would have sent you a new one out after you provided them a tracking number or something!! Hard to beat these guys, and you will not be paying any more for it.

Sorry to hear about that...But it is nice to see you still have a good attitude and not read a lot of gripeing. Here is something to make you laugh. One day I hiked 1.5 hrs to a site with backpack and gear when I stated detecting the dang machine was broke all I got was a threshold hum and no target would make it sound off...I hiked all the way back down mad as heck 1.5 miles and while putting the detector away (or getting ready to throw it into the trees) I took the rain cover off and noticed the Coil connection had vibrated off. I never felt so stupid in my life for not checking it. I can laugh about that now...almost.

Hope things get better for ya.

Kellyco, is there anyone in your organization that can help Ron out? Several of us on the forum buy from you and if this is common practice then we will look elsewhere for sales.......Don
 
Stay with a small company! Your usually dealing with the owner & he or she will work harder. Besides, Kellyco gives you a bunch of crap with your purchase & will not come down on price if you do not want the extra stuff. A smaller dealer you can deal with on price, (but they cannot advertise a price lower than the set price).

Hi Utahshovelhead Not much I can do about it but it won't happen again.I can relate to your story,one time i took one of my buddies fishing for salmon and drove about an hour from my house then walked about a 1/2 mile to the river only to find out i brought the wrong end for a 2 piece rod,so we took turns using my other rod LOL! Thanks for the support Don The salesman would have sent me a new detector with a ups pickup but his boss said no unless i wanted to pay for another one and I already spent too much ! My wife would kill me even though I would be refunded when they receive the other set. Thanks People Ron
 
Stories like this is why I bought from Ralph at Sun Ray. Might not have gotten as many freebies but he spent the better part of the day putting it all together and going out in the field and showing me the ropes. I called many others and found Ralph to be very informative and great to deal with. I drove 6 hours round trip to pick up my E-trac but it was worth every mile. This is my first detector and most others were talking way over my head. Ralph spent as much time as it took on the phone to answer all my questions. Sometimes price is not always calculated by the dollars spent. Service is hard to find in todays, bottom line marketing world. I called him the night before and drove up to pick it up the next day. Within minutes from getting all the setup instructions I was diggin coins. The X-1 probe works great also.

Yesterday I drove 449 miles round trip to by from Richard at Backwoods Detectors in TN. He is one of the nices people I have ever worked with. I traded two detectors and got the E Trac and the Vision. He is a small dealer but is great to work with. Great Guy
 
call Steve as soon as you drop it off at UPS and get a tracking number and we will air the new one to you so you can hunt this weekend!

I agree, that X-1 probe is wonderful, I don't want to detect without it, and yeah my experiences with Ralph have been very positive ones too he's a good guy.
