I Can't Believe It! I found a Harmonica.:crylol:

I went out for low tide this am and found a few neat bits and bobs but no gold. The kewlest find was a harmonica, I almost tossed it onto the beach to be dumped in the trash after the hunt. Just before I tossed it I thought to myself 'That could be a harmonica, Naah!, but I better hang onto it just in case'. When I got home and chipped away at it what did I find? A Harmonica. How Kewl is that?
Also managed a couple of old british pennies, 2 Bermuda 50 cent pieces, some clad, old brass ship's spikes and what looks to be a musket ball.

Happy Easter,

I chipped a half inch of crud off the harmonica to get it to the point you see in the pic. 2 barnacles were even growing on it. I would think it has been in the water a long time; makes you wonder just how long ago it was lost and by whom, maybe an old sailor.
Did the sailor who owned lose it overboard:cry: or did his shipmates toss it overboard because he couldn't play it?:heh:

It's not likely that it will be playing any tunes again, regardless.
