I can not contact Tesoro

Help!

I can not log on the original Tesoro forum.

I have tried several times to log on, I have even tried to change my log on data.

I attempted to send a note to "contact Us" and several other's listed on the front page and it would not accept it. Reply is below.

I worked my way thru the log on registration and it tells me I can not register my own email address because some one else is using it.

This is probably me trying to re-register.

I finally got it to accept my data and it said I would get a notice to activate it yesterday. None ever came through.

Can someone help me get logged on?

Or is this a dead forum/site??

Same problems here.
I've been trying to register on that forum for about a month now.
Never get an answer and registration is "timed out".
I gave up on 'em.

Harry, I have had the same problem. I was able to register, log on and post one message when that forum first came on line. From then on it has been a no go no matter what I tried to do. I understand other people have had the same experience. :rage:

Been there done that called Tesoro and was told that not all servers AOL,Timewarner and certain ones on the west coast cannot get into Tesoro web site. They were nice but it appears no one is fixing a known problem at least not since I spoke with them in oct. 08. diggstown

I can log on and read the Tesoro forum but can not complete the registration process successfully. Same story about it's some service provider's issue. I've tried three different service providers with same result.

Thank you all.

This makes me feel better that it was not my error.

Again I thank you for the reply's.

Neither could I. But after reading a few of the posts, I decided I didn't want on their forum, anyway. This one's a lot better. Can I get in trouble for saying that?

Hello to All,

I spoke with Tesoro today and was told their server was down also.
My question to them was; "Is the Tesoro Tiger Shark really more sensitive to small gold (in fresh water) then the Excalibur?", and had anyone done a side-by side test (a shoot-out) to see if it was in fact more sensitive or not. The answer was that no one had done a test to their knowledge and if I wanted to, please let them know the results and write an article for their detector magazine.
I would like to do this and plan to. I have recently purchased a used Tesoro Tiger Shark and have use the Minelab Excalibur for a while now in different parts of the world, both fresh and salt water. So I feel comfortable with the Excalibur. I often hunt some fresh water swimming spots here in Northern California in the summer and purchased the Tiger Shark specifically to see if it is capable of finding even smaller pieces of gold than the Excalibur in fresh water.
I am not particularly interested in air tests, as I want to know how the two detectors work in the ground matrix in which I hunt, NOT ON A BENCH.
Is anyone else interested in this? Let me know.
I also asked why there were no Tiger Sharks available? Were they discontinuing the Tiger Shark and coming out with something new? Alas, I was told, "No, they just were on back order". Who knows?

I know that I must log in twice whenever I log in. It won't take just one log in for some reason.

I been kind of chewin the cud wondering if they were going to whip out something new, but if they are discontinuing the Tiger Shark maybe the new is to replace it instead of just adding a new machine to their current market line. Actually I wanted to see a new inland specific machine. Actually a couple models would be nice.

I did not ask about anything other than the Tiger Shark and the person with whom I was speaking said they were not discontinuing the Tiger Shark.

I think Tesoro needs to get there act together....I mailed them a few months ago on a machine that I had troubles with.Never answered back...I know someone else with the same issues..Same thing..Is this normal from these guys.My first Tesoro and probally last because of the ignorance.

I also have had trouble logging into their forum. I am waiting for an email from them confirming registration. I also can't change login status or log in and no one at Tesoro is answering my questions about their forum. I guess they are working hard on their detectors and I would rather have them working on great detectors.

From what I've been reading, Tesoro apparently has a problem with answering emails in a timely manner, if at all.

That's too bad, because my customer service experience with Tesoro was excellent. And that opinion seems to be pretty much universal when anyone needs repair work done.

The solution for you, of course, is just to give Tesoro a call. If you do that I think you'll be very satisfied with them.

I understand that a company needs to have an internet presence in this day and age. But if a company isn't going to dedicate the resources to respond to emails than the contact information would be better off without an email address.

Kind of seems like a no brainer to me.
