I came REAL CLOSE to being killed this morning...:thumbdown:

....brothers and sisters,this is no joke....I was going back home from the car dealer's where I had my 6,000 mile check-up done...I was approaching a blind intersection that resembles a T;from what would be the bottom to the top of the T,to turn right...I stopped,looked to the left for traffic,and started to turn right-WELL;there were a couple of Edison trucks going thru that intersection from right to left(I was the only one that had a stop-sign)-some arse-hole IN A BIG TRUCK WAS PASSING THEM EDISON TRUCKS GOING THE SAME WAY-RIGHT THRU THAT BLIND INTERSECTION-ON MY SIDE OF THE ROAD-AT WHAT HAD TO BE 70 MPH!!!He missed me by centimeters...didnt honk,or anything...If I had turned out any farther into that road;he would have nailed me almost head-on...and I would have never known what had hit me,cause I didnt see him coming-the last thing I expected was someone passing right there at a blind intersection...I called my wife and told her how close I came to the other side today...THE LAST THING I WANT TO DO IS DIE FROM SOMEBODY ELSE'S FOOLISHNESS!!Please;drive with common sense,defensively;and expect the unexpected...

...It brought home to me the passage in the Word that says"In a twinkling,we are gone"....The Lord spared me from death today-In all my 50+years,that is the closest I have ever come...He still has a use for me on this earth-THANK YOU,LORD....

guardian angels were on the job and kept you safe, for loving and serving Jesus more and more! God protects and provides...but we never know when the mortal time of our life has expired....so we need to live as if each day is our last day and give God praise and glory in all that we do and say!

One day, I was approaching one of the deadliest expreessways here in the Bronx.... The Cross Bronx Expressway. It was raining very hard, I mean you could hardly see in front of you as you drove... On the ramp to get on to the expressway I looked all ways and it was clear, but like you... there was this nut who must have been going over 50 miles an hour and just before he was going to hit me... Everything went into slow motion. It was like a huge hand just pushed my van to the right of the ramp... I couldn't believe it Dogface, God truly watches over his Children.
