I braved the heat today

It was in the low 90's and humid, but I had to get my silver fix. I drank a lot of water and stayed in the shade and picked up a few goodies. I gouged the foreign coin pretty good. I haven't looked it up yet, but my guess is the USSR. It has an eagle with the hammer and sickle on the other side.

Nice!

It's from Austria. (Osterreich == Austria).

Larry WTG , Wen it gets muggy over thear is it hard to breath 4R people that arnt used to it??????????
I sent my V to Whites 4R the 1.3 update Hoora!!!!!!!!!!!! will get it back around the 29th????????
What coil did you use ????????? Mic

Hi Mick, I seem to do OK in the humidity and heat as long as I'm not too active. Something like mowing the yard, that's a different normally a 45 min. job took me two days. I used the stock coil.

Thanks Roy.

Nope Bryan, same ole park we have been hitting hard for the past year. The V3 in snail mode is bringing up some extra finds missed before. Good luck next week in Vegas at the WSOP..........

I sure do Evan, that silver sure looks pretty down in our black soil. Even the Indian has a distinct green before cleaning that just lets you know INDIAN.

Thanks for the info Robert.

Yours is out there bboy, you just gotta get your coil over it.

..Snail mode is where I don't move very fast, investigating every "pip and pop" in the ground. (sometimes called the Minelab crawl.) When I work a spot that has been hit hard, there are lots of targets left, they are just harder to find and often mixed with trash/iron or very deep.

Thanks Larry , Im going Water Hunting with Lake Hunter N my Tiger Shark, My V should be back by the 29th??
sent it to Whites 4R a 1.3 update, Be Cool Man, Mic

Another nice day, Larry. :clapping:

Still haven't been able to get out to hunt much at all, yet, out here in Colorado. Am waiting to hear from an MDer here that a local Whites dealer called and left a message for. He happens to own the first "Vision" off the line and dealer thought that would make a good partner to swing the coil with around the area. Last month he dug a very nice (and very pretty) gold nugget in quartz. Saw the picture at the Whites shop. THAT I am very anxious to do...some nugget shooting, which, they do around Leadville, CO at around 11,000 ft. Getting more used to the rarefied air now, but, expect to suck alot of air when the time comes to go "up" there.

The local club, here, puts on what is apparently the biggest weekend hunt in the US, called Rock the Rockies with over 10,000 pieces of silver in just one of the timed hunts! Am very tempted to see if I can stay an extra week to make the hunt on July 17-19, before heading home. Have to see if I can postpone back surgeon appointment set for the 14th.

HH to everyone:twodetecting:

Yes, I'll be doing another post later, I'll include it. Robertk ID'd it further down in the post as it being Austrian.
