We bought a washer,dryer and a dinette set today, so I was allowed to go MDing for 3 hours. I went to the old city park on the hill top. I metal detected for 1 1/2 hours of nothing but pop tabs.

Just one 1953-D wheat that id as a quarter.

Glad your finding some coinage in the dirt! You must be relearning the detector!
 
I guess you must have some competition in that park. You should be finding more coins then that. But then again.....somebudy not digging those pulltabs is probably leaving some gold ring behind. Hang in there John.....the goods will come. :)
