I apologize up front if this AT-PRO headphone question has been answered before.

I know that the headphones that come with the machine can not be submerged. However, if I am certain that I will not dunk the actual standard headphones can i still wade in waist deep water with the standard headphones. In short is the adaptor on the standard AT-PRO headphones waterproof.

Those plugs are totally water proof.....They are identical to the water proof head phones Garrett sells.

Everything on the detector itself is waterproof. The control box is even divided up into separate waterproof compartments as a "fail safe" measure. Garrett didn't overlook much on this one.
