Emmit said:Something I noticed today is the coins have a softer Hi Tone, than say a louder hi tone for aluminum cans, pop tops, and other trash. I usually ground balance my machine, put her in pro zero, discriminate 35 segments of iron, and finally I turn my headphones down (this makes me listen harder.) I have only hunted with my machine about 3 weeks but I have already replaced the batteries. I moved up from the Ace 250. I really like the PRO mode. It has reduced the amount of pop tops I've dug. The softer hi tones usually produce a coin. Loud hi tones with blips before or after usually indicate a pop top or other trash.
