I Am Really Getting Worried Now :rage:

I was having some lunch with some RN's at work, and now I find out that there are now 2 more ACE'S in Edmonton. One of the RN's bought one for her husband, and one of the recreational therapists also bought one for her husband too. Of course there were several others in the last couple of years who also have purchased ACE'S

So...I made a New Years Resolution to keep my big mouth shut about where I find things, unless of course I have hunted a place out. :poke: There are only so many coins out there to be found, so the competition is getting fierce! Yikes........

See what happens when you flap your lip. Pretty soon there will be 250's all over town. Maybe you can hit Garrett up for a commission. :)

John, here is what I do. When asked what I find, my standard answer is "pull tabs and poptops". I want peope to think why spend $$ on a detector if that's all you find:devil:

Hey John: If you think the competion is bad there, you should live in the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas area . We think it is something to find a few clad coins in any local parks. There are four clubs with over four hundred detector users. Not counting the ones not in clubs.. You have to become a historian of where things used to be to find any good finds....Jack

Yep, I learned that lesson. I met a guy at one of my favorite places and let go of one of my other favorite spots. He was there a few days later and then every day for a month. He also told a reporter his favorite MDing spots including the spot I had to give him directions to. Big mouth. I drove by that spot today and the snow is about half gone and while it's real swampy, I plan on going there for an hour or so before work tomorrow. Supposed to be up in the high 50s to low 60s so I suppose I better make some hay.

I only show my really good finds (gold, silver) to a few friends and of course you guys. Keeps me from having to answer where did you find that?

Chris

I guess I am lucky. There aren't any clubs in the state. I have only seen one MD'er and it took him 10 minutes to dig up a target.

Yeah I don't blow the whistle on any of my spots. When another beeper swinger asked me if I know of any good spots I get dumb real quick.

Yeah it's dang near as bad here but at one time we had five or six detector manufacturers here in Oregon - White, Bounty Hunter,, Fisher, Compass, Discovery, and one other I can't remember.
