I Am Officially Impressed!

I just got my CTX and I am going to really like it for sure. After giving it a few short runs at some local parks where there really is nothing old normally I was ready to try it out at a better site. A friend at church who just joined us said he had an old farmhouse that has been hunted three times in the last year, present owner says he has been there 5 years so who knows how many times before. I was getting a clear penny signal and target trace was saying there was some iron there too. First item was bottle cap and about 1" below it was the wheat and then about 3" under it and off a bit to the side was this massive square nail! Now I have dug some coins with crown tops in the hole and even maybe a small nail near with the E-Trac but it was what I would call an iffy signal, just getting a small squeak of a good signal. With the CTX no doubt in my mind that there was something good in the hole. Centered over the penny gave a solid signal with the cursor filled with red color and using the target trace in pinpoint you could see it building up stronger each time you moved the coil across it. I think I am going to love this :inlove:
