There was a pretty cool breeze blowing. Long pants and a sweatshirt was the attire for the day. I thought I was in California. The finds wasn't so great, but I had a great day and didn't want to quit MD'ing. It got late and I was the ninja Md'er in the dark. Finding targets only by sound and the light of my pin pointer. I didn't know what I had till I got home. My wife knew what she had, a nut for a husband.
I got a NO DATE buffalo nickel and four wheat's: 1948,1946,1919 and 1919-s. This is the total.

Looks like a cut and paste on the weather John. Don't yo uknow my stuff is copyrighted? Don't be so humble, those are great finds. That "what is it" looks like a off on deal for a old wedge cock valve. It looks really old.

R M P T R[/quote]You got it. I used the word wedgecock ( as in wedgecock valve) and today they obscured the last part of the word.
I guess if I ever find a pipe nipple I better call it something else. Like a little short pipe deal:rofl:
