I am much impressed with the AT Pro!

I detected an area that was is loaded with iron and slag due to the fact that it was part of the iron industry in the late 1700's and 1800's. There are summer camps in the area so you never know how old finds may be. I found a v nickle and wheatie in an area my other detectors couldn't handle in the past. I also hunted around an old general store cellar hole and found part of a spoon down at least a foot deep. Now I know what those soft high pitched tones sound like without vdi numbers :) I have had a new detector in many years and decided to order an Equinox and in the meantime my friend gave me his old AT Pro. I don't think I needed to get the Equinox as this detector is AMAZING :)

I like them both. AT Pro around cellar holes and Equinox in hayfields and parks.

Thanks Rtread! The 80 Pro actually came with the same coil you mentioned a buddy of mine gave it to me. I never used one before but around the same time I had ordered an equinox so I've been using that more but the times I've used 280 Pro with a small coil I've done awesome in areas where the equinox was deficient
