Heh...I don't know about that. I thought my playground hunting days were long behind me. Because you know if I'm not hunting the beach I'm all about the silver coins and the Civil War stuff. And you won't find any of that there. But then again, it IS easy hunting. And we're in a lull right now between the time when the beach is sucking and there are too many ticks in the woods and fields yet for that kind of hunting. But playgrounds??? Don't make me do that...

Besides, you'd kick my butt...you're still on a roll. Did you get that at the place we talked about today?

Only problem is, my mouth has never said you CAN'T find stuff in playgrounds and parks...I just don't much enjoy hunting them. Not modern playgrounds and parks, anyway. Old ones with deep silver and bullets and such, definitely.

Nothing wrong with playgrounds when no water is available - sand and wood chips hide a lot of things. Have got 40 gold this year and 10 of those came out of playgrounds, two items at the same time in two of them. Also found a franklin half in one of them along with the two gold. You never know, in fact it appeared to me in many instances the grounds had been hunted, but too much discrimination was used - most were gold religious medals and small rings, but one was a nice 1/7th K solitare. Never underestimate playgrounds. Waterhunter.
