I am being Pushed so dam hard where I work that I am going to pull a ELSON

I am Retiring on Jan 1 07---I just cannot run as hard anymore to keep my job--(3 weeks ago I was told move like a 40 year old or leave) I knew this time would come But I don't like to quit as it will feel dam funny not going to work each Day--I do plan to do the ONE thing I have always wanted to do--Go and see the desert IN BLOOM before I Kick The Bucket--I plan to make my house look a little better by putting on a New Roof--Painting both the outside and inside--Installing new carpet (Some that you can Soak it in BLEACH and not hurt it--Also REfinish a couple of Hard Wood Floor rooms--I figure it will take two years to do that--Then I should be set for old age to take over my body------I am REplacing the Sub Floor and the Top Floor in my Kitchen--Dinning Room--Bathroom--Cause like the Dumb person I am I went to work and left the KITCHEN Sink Faucet on (10 HRS) Most of it went down the Basement Stairs and flooded it!!

Age discrimination is against the law. If you cannot perform your job because of your age, then they must provide you with a different job.......like it or not........that is the law.

Yes plan to do every thing my self--The real hard work is doing the roof--I have done this by my self down to the last nail including packing the shingles up on the roof--This time I will hire a helper for the HARD work--I will be dam glad to leave cause each Eve. I am sorer than I ever have been in my life and wake up Sick to my stomach because of it--I know I am earning my keep but I also know I am not wanted any more-Have expected this because when I was Hired 16+ years ago I was Told When i Got to old to do what they wonted I Would Be FIRED--So I have been expecting this for the last 5 years--I have been asked a lot in those 5 years WHEN are you REtiring--My Boss has told me he is happy with my work BUT its his boss who is after my butt---Doing work on my OWN house will be LOTS OF FUN as I am doing things for ME--Any way its time to go to Work--Today is the day the tell me if I have been doing enough work to STAY (At 3:30pm -My boss has already told me the answer will be YES--I am also giving Notice of REtirement AFTER the meeting is over, that way I am leaving because I want to leave NOT because they fire me-Thanks for being 1 of my friends on this Forum and the same to everyone else here also!!!!!!!!
