Thanks to all who helped me out,now I just wonder what I did to make it go BONKERS on me in the first place.....
 
I bet the XS software has a few bugs in it and you must keep it under control.
 
I built a program for it in doors because it was cold out and maybe that cause it to go bonkers,I have know I dea just fishing but it is working now.
 
Now all you need to do is remember the next time it doesn't seem right all the tips and tricks

welcome back to the land of the living detectorist. Glad to hear that all is again right with the world. Bet you breathed a big sigh of relief.
Remember you are still just getting used to the Explorer so keep things as simple as possible.
There is plenty of time to experiment with different settings after you get used to the language of the machine.
Hope the weather breaks for you so that you can get out and make some really great finds to share with the rest of us.
