Very satisfied with the unit. I ordered it in Russia. Ukrainian dealers did not have it in stock that time. I paid 1000 USD + shipping costs. So, I moved from Fisher to Minelab. Fisher is a good company. But I was a bit confused a bit by this affiliation of the BH and Fisher.
What dealers hide:
1. It is a lightweight unit. This is NOT TRUE. At maximum length it is very, very heavy. The Fisher is by far more lightweight.
2. Quick response. This is NOT TRUE. Fisher does it better.
3. Stable. This is NOT TRUE. At maximum sensitivity it gives off erratic signals when it touches ground on the stubble field.
4. Pinpoint. My Terra was sold with a DD coil as standard. Well, forget about pinpoint.
In a nutshell I changed a very decent Fisher 1236 for the unit wih better depth and depth meter. In the nearest future I am going to buy the Fisher 1270 as a backup unit.
I hope I am mistaken as to the third point. Who could possibly say what sensitivity is best without false signals on the soil with little mineralisation?
