I am a Gunnery Sergeant in the U.S. Marines station at Quantico, Virginia, my job is EOD or in other words the Bomb Squad. Just looking for some area to do some Civil War Relic hunting and meet some new people that are doing the same. I will try to assist anyone if i can, looking forward to starting a new hobby.
Thank you,
GySgt Jeffery Kilpatrick

Welcome Jeffery. This is a great hobby and this is a real friendly and helpful forum. Skip

Are you related to Cavalry man Judson Kilpatrick ? Hope you have a great time with the AT PRO it's a great little detector. Wish I lived in Virginia ....lol
I love civil war relic hunting but live a little to far from the Gettysburg area to do much down there.

Welcome Gunney, I am SSgt Jesse W. McComas. U.S. Army, Retired and a 100% Disabled Veteran. 1972-1979. You will love this hobby. I have been in it for 43 years now. I will be in the DIV XVII in Culpper area at the end of this month for the 3 day relic hunt . Good Luck with your new machine and let us all know about your finds with photo's & Videos if possible...Jesse.

Welcome Jeffery!
This is the place to increase your MD knowledge and understanding. The folks here are friendly and helpful. I am new at this myself and will be getting my first detector this summer when back in the USA.
On a more individual level, I have a few questions about what might be lurking here in Kuwait. I think there may be interesting things here to find, and I think that there are a lot of things here I don't want to be "found" by.
Once again, welcome to a great forum!
Thanks,
John Morton

I second that sniffy, Thank you Gunney for your service. Good luck with your new Garrett.

Congrats on starting your new hobby. I give a big salute to U. :usaflag:
