I always have hunted in the relic mode, how do I hunt in the prospecting mode, for coins and relics that is? Is it feasible? Your results?

You CAN hunt for coins in the Prospecting Mode but your hears will be subjected to trash targets; iron, foil, chopped up aluminum etc, in addtion to the desireable targets.
I strongly recommend you stick to the Coin and Jewelry Mode and let that audio discriminator do what it is designed to do.
Now there is another strategy for hunting for micro jewelry while using the Prospecting Mode, which I might use in the 'sand' area but NOT in the lawn area.

RICHARD, I HUNT IN PROSPECT ALL THE TIME ALL U HAVE TO DO IS LEARN THE NUMBERS AT FIRST DIG ALL TARGETS IN + RANGE AND A FEW IN -10 AND UP AS GOLD CHAINS HIT AT THAT NUMBER. TURN THE DISC. UP TO FAST SAT OR FULL CLOCKWISE. TRY IT FOR A WHILE YOU MAY NOT GO BACK TO RELIC OR COIN AS TARGETS ARE CLEAR AND HIT RIGHT ON THE NUMBER.

prospecting mode w/full sat is more accurate than any other mode as far as VDI is concerned.
