made in the late 1940's not a beach find.I buy sell trade all kinds of things, that was just a neat item I threw in the photo.I just sold it for a nice price to a collector. It was a Baby Browning .25 ACP. made in Europe. HH GET SOME MORE OLD GOLD!! P.I MASTER!!

I didn't have a chance to hit Salisbury today B.H.

Dug a little out of the bottle dump and detected my spot in So. Plymouth. No coins, but I got lots of relics as usual from the place. Total haul from 2 locations at the site:

2 small bottles (the only two I have found intact at the spot), 1 purple Tappan's German Cologne N.Y., and 1 blue Bromo-Seltzer Baltimore, MD. I'm sure they are not rare, but they are my first bottles so I am happy about it.
1 Colonial Tavern pipe with most of it's stem (once again a first for me and I have been wanting to find one since I saw Metaldigs collection of them).
3 Colonial Buttons
2 (Brass?) Buckles
1 Silver Buckle
1 Sterling Silver Fork
misc. other items

All in all a good weekend but I would still like to hit the beach before the winter is over.

got a bunch of clad,20 wheat cents,1906 Indian head,I also got a very old coin I'm trying to clean with out ruining it!! it seems to be made out of bronze?? not copper!! almost looks brass like, or low k gold??? really odd !! all those wheats no silver?? odd again!! I got a pile of nasty beach silver I may melt it and make a pendent, gotta find or make a mold. well hope for a spring storm like last may!! we need one more before the summer hits!!

beachunter,I hit some shorlines of a couple of ponds found over $8.00 in clad no silver no gold couple more weeks, most of lakes will be clear. Hope that coin turns into something interesting Don Tyler

the 1833 apears the die was not lined up right. if you run a line through the center of the coins front matching it too the back its off. instead of the front and back being centered the same say 12o'clock and 6 o'clock on one side then 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock on the other.so far I have not seen this error listed.the coin it in good shape got it in sandy soil.hope the error adds to value.
