hwy 29 treasure

me and my dad heard about a old country store that was in our small town from the early century. we wernt sure exactly sure where it was, after some research, we thought we had found the area. it was a small patch of land by a river surrounded by pecan trees. after hunting for a bit my dad recovered a barber dime date 1898, just mutineers later i recovered one as well, i also recovered a rhode island civil war button..which i thought was odd seeing as we are in Texas. but the greatest find of the day was a Spanish silver dollar from 1820. we went back to hunt it again when we wer confronted by the land owner he has had the land in his family for years. now, we don't just go on peoples land, this was a field by a river off of a highway, we thought no one would bother us.
anyway, turns out he was a nice guy, and the weird thing was the store was never there, there was nothing ever there..ever, it had been a field forever, so who knows how all these artifacts/coins got there.
here are a couple pics of some stuff we found there.
