Hurricane Settings

Looks like we will find out about detecting in a Hurricane. I think that the best setting for this one is to sit in a easy chair!

I called my buddy early this morning and told him our trip to Jersey is off. I'm sitting this one out too. To those that are still going all I can say is good luck.

[size=large]from what i gather, ol irene is gunna pass off to the east of florida and hit georgia or n. carolina. maybe stir the beaches enough to re-arrange the treasures. would like to be watching to see how many detectorist hit the beaches and how fast. postings should be plenty.

I just hope the darned thing does not come up the Chesapeake Bay. I saw this once and don't want to see it again. Relative to New Jersey, I hear the Governor Christie has already called out the National Guard and also that they are going to close the Jersey Shore.
