Got out after work to the place I got the 1938 and 1967 dimes. And pulled this out from under a tree.
Then this evening I went to a place I've never got any oldies from with the AT-Pro. And came home thinking I'd only found pennies and a clad dime. Once I cleaned the coins I noticed I had 2 dimes, and one was very black. This is it.
A very asphalt tar covered silver 1950 dime. No way baking soda was gonna clean this so i resorted to reverse electrolysis. I left it in a bit too long but eh...it's silver. Cleaned it with baking soda afterwards.
I also dug this interesting button with a loop shank on the back, if anyone knows this button, let me know. I've gotta soak it in peroxide to clean the back.
