Now, Gulf Huntress is not the best on records, so she was not able to find a recovery date for the ring. She asked me to post on her behalf though, so I'll wing it with the best of my knowledge.
We had been water hunting that day in about the summer of '05, with the Mark IIs. Things has been slow for her, so she came up to the truck and grabbed the ACE 250 and started coin hunting in the parking lot areas. She got a signal and up came this class ring.

She attemped to e-mail the school to determine if the owner could be found and ran into a closed door. I tried myself, to e-mail the school and even contacted the ring manufacturer, NO DICE!
Then after I was able to get a bite on a couple of my other class rings, I took over trying to get to the bottom of this ring again. I actually had Huntress photo all of the class rings, so the schools would find us more believeable on returns and e-mailed those along with my plea for assistance in locating the owners. This time the e-mail did not fall upon deaf ears and someone knew who the student was. They finally located the student and she was living close by our area still. She called Huntress on the evening of 05/17 and made arrangements to meet us, after church the following day at a public location with her father. On 05/18, at about 12P Cipriana, Clear Creek Class of 2003 had her ring slipped back onto her hand, after being without it, since 2003. She stated, "she was working as a lifeguard that year at the beach and thought it fell out of her car". She was very excited, to say the least! Can ya'll tell?
