i have found many coins, mainly silver quarters and dimes, have not found any jewelry or other things, was hoping to find gold jewelry, maybe i am missing them, any recommendations.
using mainly coin mode on my gti 1500

Yep, nickel signals and pulltab signals. I find more rings in the pulltab area and just above than anywhere else on the Ace. Silver rings come up in dime/quarter/dollar areas.
Good Luck!

First and foremost dig the 2 squares just below nickle as thats where about 1/3 of the gold rings are...Gold rings fall in the meter range from low foil to zinc penny so to cut down the odds notch out the 1 or 2 most prevalent tabs in your area..For instance in my area our most prevalent tab is the block just above nickle and indeed could be a gold ring but would have to dig a thousand or more of those little buggers to get a ring so just eliminate the beast and get more swinging and less digging and perhaps a gold ring or two...in the other tab or foil blocks..

If you want to find jewelry then get out of coins mode. Switch to Jewelry mode or maybe even Relics. Dan's got some good advice.
Dig every singal pulltab signal that you come across. You'll tire of diggin' all the pulltabs, but eventually you will dig up some rings.
That one pulltab sinal that you pass up could just be a diamond ring. Happy Hunting!:)

Oh yeah, and that "C" sized target could be a bracelet:wiggle:
