Hunting with the GB.....

The Gb is different than many other detector from what I can telll after using it for 6 months.
Usually you sweep from side to side and get targets . But in the trash you can pretty darn slow and find targets and get good signals with barely moving the coin. There is no big need to sweep across the target like many older machines needed.
I'm finding that the more I use the Gb the more I like it... Though I'm going to switch for a bit and try other places in the park with my other detector to look and see what is in this park...for now.

Jim,

I think that your able to do that with the Gold Bug Pro because of the fast signal return or speed due to having duel processors on the Gold Bug Pro and the G2 detectors. This would allow you to slow down and pick out good targets between trash due to the fast signal return (response time) being faster.

I am looking forward to receiving my Gold Bug Pro Monday from Bart at Big Boys Hobbies:thumbup:. I plan on putting it through the paces and hope for good results, hopefully better results than other detectors I have hunted with in this old iron trash area that I like to I hunt.:clapping:

I have a GB Pro that I would never replace, unless it was with a new GB Pro. You are going to be impressed.
You will also want to get one of the 5" coils.

Thanks

I ordered the Gold Bug Pro model with the 5" coil on it. I also ordered the new 5X10 elliptical DD coil as well. I may get the 11"DD coil down the road but have heard the new 5X10 elliptical DD does pretty good. I like the 5X10 size :) it should be real close in size to the 6X10DD I run on my White's MXT.
