Havent had much opportunity to hunt lately, but did finally get out to run my x-50 over some ground that I have hit before. I took it to a modern day school that I deduced had an old home on its property at one time. In the past, I had found a 1918 dime and a 1901 indian head. I decided to run over an area that had always chattered on my other detectors, but went slow and patiently. The first coin that I popped out was the '44 merc. It was about 4-5 inches down, but the soil is like concrete right now, here in Oregon. The second coin was a 1898 indian head. It was at about the same depth. I thought it might be a beaver tail tab, because I had found a few that sounded similar and had similar numbers. Anyway, I was pretty excited, because I didnt really think I would find anything here since I hadnt the last few time I had gone here.
Thanks for looking,
J.
