Hunting with Go Find 60

All I can say is , after hunting with the go find 60 I would not recommend it to anyone...lots of false signles

I must admit i have never used one and dont plan on getting one either,on paper they look to be a nice machine that ticks alot of boxes and when it was launched i must admit i am not really sure what market the machine was aimed at,i guess they had hoped to tap into the newbie or very young sector, but sales over here in the UK are far from stellar infact dismal, folks who have bought them have 'tried' to off load them as they are finding the same problem that you are having and a few other build/quality issues as well with a massive loss in such a very short time duration.

I still cannot fathom out how one of the best and well known detector brands on the planet ie Minelab came up with this White Elephant, they stopped producing the reasonably popular Sovereign range and then started to produce the Go Find range,Go Fathom as i cannot work out why they did.

Thanks for the heads up. I nearly bought one a few months ago. I was interested in it at first because of portability. It could allow me to pack it on hiking trips and casually search for prospecting areas without attracting too much attention.

I'm hoping other brand names will come up with portable/compact and light detectors such as this with more reliable performance.

Well I did not give up on the Go Find 60, I made a test garden in my yard and tested my Xterra 705 (new to me) , then I tested my Explorer XS . Both detectors did fine.
I went and got the Go find 60 ...lets see....at first I was getting false signals...lowered the sensitivity one notch and it is fine ...picked up all targets and a silver ring at 6 inches without any problems
SO ALL in ALL , I will keep the Go Find 60 as my "take every place I go" machine....guess ya just got to learn each machine as an individual machine and not expect it to work like a different one..q
