I just needed to get a tect'n fix today. :) Warmed up to a few degrees below freezing, so I found a patch in the woods under some coniferous trees where there was minimum snow on the ground. I had to work hard to get that Samson Relic shovel down to reasonable depths to dig up some signals.

Here's the keepers for the day. My first silver coin for 2015.Dang those X3S tokens....The silver made my day! :)

Nice job John. I went to the local ski hill tonight after most everyone had gone home and scored $2.75 in clad and a few zippers. Used your hand warmer wrapped in a toque technique around the Euro Ace's control box :yo:
Warming up a little here as well. Beautiful night it was.

Good for you John. it's kind of funny how we both dug under trees and both got a silver dime. :detecting: I was finding that some spots exposed to the sun were diggable to 2-3 inches but it's quite sporadic. I also found that I got fooled many times by rusty bottle caps, thinking that they were clad quarters. I'm rusty also I guess. Looks like a week of normal winter is coming back, oh well, it was a nice change for a while.

Back down to highs of -15 this weekend! :rage: And what a coin - incidence, each of use getting a silver coin under the tree.
