Today's finds were downright weird, to say the least. Find after finds were old clocks parts. Some of the trim pieces were a bit fancy but most were just gears and inner parts. Also dug a bunch of pop can lids and one pull tab. I did find 3 zink pennies and rock! At least it looks like a rock. Upon arriving home and cleaning the finds, the 'rock' turned out to be a big hunk of lead. Sure looks like a rock though. Other than that, all I got was 'back'. :geek:
 
house there at one time.Jerry and I, years ago, detected some woodchips at a newer school and Jerry got 1850's large cent and we got a couple of old silver dimes with some Wheaties. These were all deep digs with the large cent at about 10 inches or a little more.

Might be some oldies waiting there for you.
