Hunting the Holiday in Deming, New Mexico.... any Ideas?:shrug:

Hello, I am a fellow detectorist from Florida's Gulf Coast. :biggrin: I am going on a small trip over to Deming, New Mexico to visit family over the holidays, and I am wondering if there are any areas in Luna or its neighboring counties that would be great for MDing. I know there is Gold Prospecting Throughout the State, but I am unsure about any laws that would prohibit me from going into some of these places... or if I can ask permission to bring my detector with me while nugget Shoot.

It would be fun to get my family in on one of my favorite hobbies. I appreciate any advice, comments, ideas. I have been strictly beach detecting, but am excited about trying something new.

Not familiar with Deming area= but New Mexico has MANY-MANY indian reservations,much land, DON'T GO THERE, check with local law officers where you can go.:detecting:
 
near Deming. Do a Google search on it for more info.
