I'm in victoria area. I heard alittle past about around indianola used to be an old navy base, some kind of big port where a lot went on in th mid to late 1800's. And in late 1800 there was two big hurricanes that wiped out a lot. Not sure what exactly took place, maybe somebodyelse might have or know more information about around that area. I know there has got to be some good locations around here because of the history around here. Just got to find out more info of around here. My sister in law just bought a house a few miles from shroeder hall in shroeder,tx. Somewhere on her property she found what she said to be a old military coin. Can't wait to check her place out. I appreciate if anybody got any ideas or tips on good places to check. I'm really interested in finding old coins
