Hunting my local park with my dads old GTA 1000.

8 years ago my dad died. At that time he used a Garrett GTA 1000. A couple of weeks ago I decided to start using his old machine again. It turned out to be a great detector for hunting coins.

Here is my latest video hunting a local park with the Garrett.

Thanks for watching,

Andre

Nice video, I enjoyed seeing that old Green Stick finding some good coins!! I use the same technique with the Propointer to just "cherry pick" (only go after shallow targets that you are pretty sure are coins or silver). One thing I might suggest, get a screwdriver or brass probe to just pop those coins out. It will greatly reduce the damage to the grounds and no one will ever know you were there.
Thanks for sharing!!

Good job with your video, I have to say your hatchet style recovery is efficient and it seems to save time with the shallow finds.
