I just saw a show about guys hunting for meteorites in open fields in central USA. They used a vehicle with what looked like multiple coils and a single reader that detected variations in the ground. Once they got a signal, they got out and searched with metal detectors and then they dug up some finds, including a large chunk meteorite. Did anyone else see this show recently?
