Hunting in the snow!

If anyone is wondering if the MXT can perform in extreme cold conditions, well, today I can tell you it performed perfectly. The temperature was 6 degrees and windchill had to be below zero. It snowed all day and the MXT did a great job!
Hunted a battlefield today and along this fence line at the right of picture, I have recovered many fired Confederate .577 Enfield bullets in the past. I assume this is where the Union line was.

Today, I concentrated on this area and found 7 more bullets to add to my collection. Here is the first bullet of the day, cut a nice plug, you can't see it but bullet is at bottom of hole at about 6" deep.

Had a blast out there in the snow, stayed warm all day but I think this will be the last time out till March. Ground is just starting to freeze! :(
