Hunting in the rain ?

New member
I own a ESE and have a rain coat for the display and a plastic bag wrapped around my X-1 probe's switchbox. Is this enough for light rain?

Txbluesman,
the way I see it the environmental cover would protect you if you were caught out detecting in a shower.
But I wouldn't be out all day detecting in the rain,
I don't believe it would provide total protection...

That's my view,

I've used the rain/dust cover and the bag approach. It wasn't enough for the Oregon rain. So here's what works for me. Check out the link.
